Miniature American Shepherds
 At Coyote Creek
We are located in Kansas!
Our past and present parent dogs are in the OFA's Canine Health Information Center, also known as the CHIC Program.  Breeders can submit all of their dog's health testing results into the OFA for the public to look up and see.
We at Coyote Creek have entered more Mini American Shepherd dogs into the CHIC program than any other breeder!
We strive to improve our breeding program with every litter we raise.
We are breeders who care about the health of the puppies we raise!

The Miniature American Shepherd was developed in the American West in the late 1960's.   This is a small herding dog of extensive versatility.  They make great traveling companions, agility, disc, herding, barn hunt,
 farm, and show dogs.
Formerly known as the Miniature Australian Shepherd,
they are are up to 18 inches tall & up to 40 pounds as adults.   They come in a variety of colors:
Blue Merle, Red Merle, Red, & Black.
Whether working stock, navigating an agility course, visiting a nursing home, or hanging out on the family couch, this intensely curious and intelligent dog does it all with due diligence and a sense of humor.
