Miniature American Shepherds
 At Coyote Creek
We are located in Kansas!
We at Coyote Creek have entered more Mini American Shepherd dogs
into the CHIC program than any other breeder!
Our past and present parent dogs are in the OFA's Canine Health Information Center, also known as the CHIC Program.  Breeders can submit all of their dog's health testing results into the OFA for the public to look up and see.

We strive to improve our breeding program with every litter we raise.
We are breeders who care about the health of the puppies we raise!

The Miniature American Shepherd was developed in the American West in the late 1960's.   This is a small herding dog of extensive versatility.
They make great traveling companions, agility, disc, herding,
barn hunt,  farm dogs, and show dogs.

Formerly known as the Miniature Australian Shepherd, the females can be up to & including 17" tall & the males up to & including 18" tall.
They may weigh 25 to 40 pounds as adults.
They come in a variety of colors:
Blue Merle, Red Merle, Red, & Black.

Whether working stock, navigating an agility course, visiting a nursing home,
or hanging out on the family couch, this intensely curious and intelligent dog
does it all with due diligence and a sense of humor.
